Released in September 2017 at Ardbeg Embassies and whisky specialists, the An Oa was the fourth addition to the distillery’s The Ultimate core range. The whisky itself is a marriage of Pedro Ximenez sherry, bourbon, and charred virgin oak casks, which have been combined together in the distillery’s bespoke “Gathering Vat.”
