Rose Geranium Essential Oil: Pelargonium Graveolens Leaf Oil Never ingest or apply undiluted essential oils to the skin. Rose geranium is from the same plant family as Geranium essential oil but is cultivated to product a rosier tone to the oil. It can be an excellent substitute for rose essential and absolute oils in cosmetic products as the roses are quite heavily restricted. This oil has calming, balancing soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It can improve mood and emotional states, and is particularly useful as a single or blended oil in preparations for cosmetics, aromatherapy and home fragrance such as pot pourri. Blends well with citrus, herbaceous and other floral oils.
