Description In Slavic folklore the sun is a powerful symbol that represents vitality, strength, and prosperity. Zorya is the feminine personification of dawn. Appearing as a singular entity, or 3 sisters at once. Often depicted as the sister of the Sun, the Moon, she being the Morning Star. She lives in the Palace of the Sun, and opens the gate for him in the morning. So that he can set off on a journey through the sky. In the Eastern Slavic tradition of zagovory, she represents the supreme power that a practitioner appeals to when reciting their incantations. The Slavic word zora “dawn, aurora”, and its variants, comes from the same root as “zrěti” (“to see, observe”), and may originally meant “shine”. In Ukrainian there are also words deriving from *zoŗà: зі́рка, a diminutive meaning ‘little star‘, ‘starlet’. In a magical love charm from Ukraine, a girl invokes “three star-sisters” (or the “dawn-sisters”): “Vy zori-zirnytsi, vas na nebi tri sestrytsi: odna nudna, druga pryvitna, a tretia pechal’na.” You dawn-stars, you three sisters in the sky: one dull, the second welcoming, and the third sorrowful. You will receive the exact bracelet shown in the photos. This giant chonker piece of Baltic Amber is encased in place by a “palace” of .925 silver. It attaches to your wrist via a leather strap with adjustable holes much like a sacred belt. Only 1 when it’s gone it’s gone.
