Each album is beautifully adorned with vibrant sari fabric from Varanasi, one of the most revered cities in the world, known for its rich tradition of sari making. Expertly crafted using both contemporary and traditional methods, this album is bound by hand, making each one unique. Inside, you’ll find 30 pages of handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), which is acid-free and interleaved with tissue paper to preserve and protect your photos. The album can hold up to 120 6×4″ photos, ensuring plenty of space to showcase your treasured moments. Khadda paper, made from recycled cotton salvaged from the Indian garment industry, is a sustainable material that is both luxurious and environmentally friendly. The paper is unbleached, lightly textured, and thick, providing a beautiful surface for writing, drawing, or painting. While it’s ideal for ballpoint pens, gel pens, or watercolours, we would not recommend using fountain pens on this paper. To add your photos, you can use glue, spray mount, or choose our optional pack of clear self-adhesive photo corners for easy application. Each album is lovingly handmade by a small family business in Rajasthan, India.
