Description Family Poaceae Originating from Asia Stunning, exotic arching slender leaves of a cheerful mid green colour are marked with broad stripes of yellow, horizontally banding the foliage. One of the most tropical looking miscanthus, this form is compact with leaves that emerge stiffly upright but soon begin to arch over forming a cascade of softly textured foliage. Its loose flowers which are silvery pink at first, becoming a darker red as they mature, turning to silver and maintaining a graceful display tan colour well into winter. Robust and easy to grow in any soil type in full sun and in coastal conditions. Height and spread after 2 – 5 years 1m x 50cm.
